The Crimean War Era : 1853 -1856

Covering the period from 16 October 1853 – 30 March 1856.

Antagonists: the Allies, (Great Britain, France, the Ottoman Empire and Sardinia/Piedmont), vs the Russian Empire, (including the Duchy of Finland).

Theaters of Conflict: principally; Balkans, Crimean Peninsula, Black Sea, Baltic Sea; but also White Sea, Caucasus and Far East.

The collection consists principally of headdress and weaponry, but also includes some examples of uniform, accessories and equipment, etc., and is divided into three Galleries:
